At Holt Area Caring Society, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals in the Holt area by providing essential transportation to medical appointments.

Trusted by locals

Community support

Holt Area Caring Society (HACS) is a local charity whose aim is to enhance the lives of people living in the local area by driving them to and from their medical appointments.

Anyone can request a lift.

Anybody can become a volunteer, our drivers come from all walks of life - some are retired who want to keep busy, others are students eager to gain valuable life experience.

Our drivers find it a rewarding way to spend their time because they know what a significant difference they are making to the lives of others.

Use your own car and receive a mileage fee for all journeys.

We cover Holt and the villages linked to the Holt Medical Practice. Most journeys are to local surgeries, dentists and opticians - but some are further afield to hospitals.

There are no expectations regarding the minimum trips to be undertaken, nor obligation to do the longer journeys.
